Un-Readymades Mass Customization

My Master Thesis in Industrial Design. An exploration of design democracy, personalization, and mass customization.

Initial starting points were my interests in creativity, personal expression, and new production methods. This was followed by research into related psychology and production areas, and resulted in the development of a design framework and several products.

The created products aim to inspire, encourage, and enable consumer involvement, creativity, and a deeper experience. They are called Un-Readymades to express the involvement of the end user (and as a nod to Marcel Duchamp)
